Role:
Lead Developer and Designer
I was the Lead Developer and Designer for NDPI's 2016 Annual Report. The Niger Delta Partnership Initiative Foundation (NDPI) is developing new solutions to economic and social challenges in the Niger Delta.
For this website, their main goals was to convey all the required information from their annual report in an engaging and beautiful way. We focused on leveraging their strong library of photography and using colorful charts and graphs to keep the information density manageable.
The page contains a few letters written from key members of NDPI, such as the Executive Director. We gave these sections a unique design treatment to distinguish them from the rest of the report.
We used graphics such as maps and icons to signify important info and break up the large amount of information on the page. Most of the graphics used were vectors.
When we had to present numerical data like financials, we used responsive charts, graphs, and tables. We made sure the data was transcribed and included for accessibility and SEO.
The client was very happy with the final design, especially the strong full-page photos. We included quote overlays and used these photo sections to transition between different parts of the page.
